  • David as a great facilitator for group 5
  • great presentation by Geoff on TRM
  • 2nd day felt a little disorganized in terms of how the various tools, session were presented & the point was a little confusing.

Dec 13 Round table discussion - Participants should be given more notice that the chair will ask each economy rep to describe the situation in their country. Instead, it' s much easier / faster to summarize each country energy situation in a paragraph and distribute this info to all. EWG's report would suffice. Otherwise, the workshop was wll organized and I appreciate all the hard work put in. Thanks for being a wonderful host.

Thanks to hold this workshop.

  • Expect to observe the science and technology expert group meeting of what is going on
  • Found that EWG&TSC WG are doing the same thing but in different view points.

- Could have had more experts and authoritative persons on fuel technology.

As we are looking for the future technologies that involve competitive among energy tech and resources. Some participants and resources persons from existing fuels such as oil, gas and coal should be helpful and give the results more balance.

  • A very fruitful experience for me --> I can use it as added improvements for our "in progress" Energy Roadmap (National)
  • Facilitator's function is very important.
  • Hopefully for the next such activities: if needs a "Smart provocteur" in a bright view facilitator to open and widen the "mind" of the participants.

  • Presentation materials not readily available at the meeting should be made available after meeting to the extent possible.
  • It' s a great meeting and the organizer has tried and made everything possible and comfortable for the meeting and the participants. Thank you.

  • Give wide knowledge about future fuel technology and share information between other country about strategy to get the sustainable energy.
  • more available list of all participants so we can keep in touch and continue share information.

I think the activities and the material of the workshop are very suitable to any work and help us very well.

It seems that title so called "Hydrogen Economy" s still very far from reality. This is a sad thing since I believe that utilizing hydrogen as a fuel will properly approve. The pollution problems associated with the burning of fossil fuels.

I' ve never involved in this technique before, so I am still confusing for the output is achieved through this method. But, it is a good experience.

Excellent working by the organizer. Thank you!

Language of scenario planning should be sensitive to participants where English is a 2nd language.

  • I felt that a number of speaker were too Canadian focussed and oriented and failed to make the link to explain how and why the Canadian experience is real way to other APEC economies.
  • As indicated, I think participants should have received a quantitative summary of APEC energy consumption by sectors
