Welcome to the APEC Center for Technology Foresight (APEC CTF). The APEC Center for Technology Foresight is a center established and supported by APEC, through active co-operation of Thailand and other APEC member economies. This Center is hosted by Thailand’s National Science & Technology Development Agency (NSTDA)

Core Object of APEC
     To develop and diffuse foresight capability and leading edge planning tools to prepare APEC Economics for rapid changes and major societal challenges through:

- APEC-wide foresight projects
- Regional, sectoral, and organizational foresight
- State-of-the-art foresight training
- National and regional strategy planning.

Definition
     Foresight involves systematic attempts to look into the future of science, technology, society and the economy, and their interactions, in order to promote social, economic and environmental benefit.

Scale of Operation
     The APEC Center for Technology Foresight is both a national and an international Center. From a solid base in its host economy - Thailand, the Center aims to serve and involve all the members of APEC.
