Due to sudden policy changes at the former
hotel management, we would like to announce that we will move to Amari

if you need assistance. Participants must settle the bills with the hotel
themselves before leaving Bangkok.

first class hotel in the chain of Amari Group. Participants can expect
international standards and superb facilities. It is located at so-called
Pratunam, the commercial and shopping district, at the heart of Bangkok.
It takes only minutes to walk from the Central World Shopping Plaza between
attractive Siam Square and Sukhumvit Road. The Bangkok express way is
also nearby, only 20 minutes driving to the airport. Moreover, the Internet
access is available in the room.

and resources will be provided at the workshop. The pre-readings are aimed
at preparing participants to be familiar with the introduction of foresight
and stimulate questions you may have at the workshop. Ask for a copy if
you have not received them.

Statement of Objective:
You are requested to write a short statement stating the
reasons of taking the training workshop for half a page. This will provide
very useful information for the facilitating team especially if you are
taking Part II of the course (project design and management). You may
state why you are interested in taking the course, what issues or tools
you would like to focus on, what topic or foresight project you have in
mind, etc. Please send back before 15 Feb.
Note: For participants
of Part II, we would like to recommend you to bring a laptop with you
for the convenience of your working on the project planning during the
two days.

Taxi options to Amari Watergate Hotel when you arrive
at Don Muang International Airport:

A limousine service of Amari Watergate
Hotel costs 750 baht + VAT per car per trip (approximately 810 baht).
Please contact the hotel directly.

A service at the airport terminal
is also convenient and reliable. Look for taxi service counter of
THAI (Thai Airways International) Limousine stand. It costs 500 baht
for a 'regular' car service to the hotel and 650 baht for a 'VIP'
service (more luxurious car like Volvo).

Alternatively, there is a regular
taxi meter stand just outside the exit of the terminal. There is a
50 baht surcharge besides fare according to the meter.
