Australia:
Australian Foresight Institute
, find information about the Master of Science in Strategic Foresight course, AFI FAQs, links and biographies of some of AFI's international foresight practitioners. Also find sections on Spiral Dynamics and Integral Futures, papers, critiques and overviews of innovative research. A key concept in our perspective is Strategic Foresight. It indicates both a symbolic domain and an applied field of practice.

Australian Centre for Innovation and International Competitiveness (ACIIC) through Professor Ron Johnston, led the two year national foresight project of the Australian Science, Technology and Engineering Council entitled Long Term Strategies for Science and Technology in Australia. Other clients have included the Antarctic Science Advisory Committee, the Marine Science and Technology Working Party, the Land and Water R&D Corporation, Delfin-Lend Lease, the Public Service and Merit Commission, and the APEC Technology Foresight Centre. ACIIC has also participated in international studies in the UK, Germany, USA and Thailand.

Japan:
The National Institute of Science and Technology Policy

Netherlands:
The NRLO
is a Science and Technology Foresight organization for agricultural research.  Although the site primarily addresses the dutch audience, it also contains an english page with information on what the NRLO is and does.  It also contains html-versions of summaries of almost all of their publications (as of 010197).

New Zealand:
The Foresight Project was designed by the Ministry of Research, Science & Technology (MORST) to allow New Zealand to move into the future with confidence, rather than allowing themselves to be run over by a future they never saw coming. A comprehensive web site on foresight and related issues.

The Millenium Project:
The purpose of The Millenium Project is to assist in organising futures research, up-date and improve global thinking about the future, and make that thinking available through a variety of media for consideration in public policy making, advanced training, public education, and feedback to create cumulative wisdom about potential futures. The Project connects with individuals and institutions around the world, many of whom will be using foresight techniques.

Turkey:
National Foresight Study: Turkey 2023
The goal of the "Turkey 2023" project is to compare the national foresight studies carried out elsewhere and develop an integrated foresight methodology for Turkey via a Ph.D.thesis which develops the conceptual framework and several M.S. theses which implement lead foresight studies to test the "3rd generation foresight" methodology.

United Kingdom:
The UK Foresight Programme
was announced in a 1993 government White Paper titled: “Realising our Potential”. Reports of independent sector-based panels, foresight implementation efforts and many other publications are available. The project has now created a Knowledge Pool.

USA:
The Foresight Institute
' s goal is to guide emerging technologies to improve the human condition.   The Institute focusses its efforts on nanotechnology, the coming ability to build materials and products with atomic precision, and upon systems that will enhance knowledge exchange and critical discussion, thus improving public and private policy decisions.

Unido
The aim of the programme is to assist developing country beneficiaries in positioning themselves with respect to emerging technologies, especially high-tech, and the medium- to long-term opportunities they generate. Through demonstration technology foresight studies, training and technical assistance and establishment of technology foresight infrastructures, ICS activities are to equip industry, institutions and governments with enhanced knowledge of the concepts, methodologies and practice of technology foresight. This will allow them to undertake further studies tailored to national, sub-regional or regional interests.
